Introducing your Ceanaires (leaders)
At Celtic Conditioning we love to explore the beauty of Ireland through hiking. We hope you get a chance to join us on hikes, led by our three Ceanairí (Jay, Aoife and Ross), and captured by mountain photographer Gavin Hyes. With us, you can experience the breathtaking views and unique culture of Ireland. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced hiker, we look forward to seeing you on the trails soon.
Gavin Hayes (hiking photographer)
Gavin Hayes kindly provides photos of an in-depth look at the stunning landscapes, historical mountainous ranges and cultural experiences that Eire offers.
With every hike he captures the beauty of the Irish countryside in all its glory, and we get to take home memories that will last a lifetime.
Jay O Sullivan (Ceanaire)
My name is Jay O Sullivan, 24 years of age from North Dublin. Plumber by trade, adventurer/explorer by nature.
I've always taken an interest in nature from an early age, and how it coexists with the world we live in today. Even if we as a society push ourselves further and further from so. I love getting outdoors as it allows us to reconnect with our past and our ancestors. It allows us to walk the way they walked, and this I encourage everyone to try.
My hiking career began in a time when we were forced to look outside but also, more importantly, within. A tough time for everyone around the world. I knew no better, so I took myself to places I could familiarise myself with, the outdoors. My love for it has grown deep over my short hiking career spaning almost 4 years.
In that time I have went on to accomplish a lot. From the african plains of Tanzania up to the snow capped peaks of kilimanjaro, across the pond to take on the 3 peaks of the UK, down under to tenerife where I conquered El teide, the highest point on Spanish soil, solo, because I guess these are the things I do when I go on "holidays" to relax as I would put it. Put before any of that, I've put the groundwork in here, in Ireland, where I've climbed well over 60+ peaks, leading many groups in the process.
Ross O' Grady (Ceanaire)
Ross is a co-founder at Celtic Conditioning, hikes led by Ross, a passionate leader who has made a successful career out of fitness activities. Join him on an unforgettable journey to the top of the peaks.
